Why Test for Radon?

Because Radon has been found in this area, real estate agents are required by law to ask if you wish to have this testing done.  What is Radon, you may be thinking.  Well, it is a radioactive, colorless, odorless, tasteless noble gas, occurring naturally as an indirect decay product of uranium or thorium.  In short, it can be in your home and has been linked to cancer. While most homes don't have Radon in dangerous quantities, the only way to know for certain is to have your home tested.
